What you will see:
The monastery of S. Pietro in Lamosa (XI – XVI sec.), A small and graceful monastery built by Benedictine monks of the Cluniac order from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Natural Reserve of the Sebino Torbiere.
A historic cellar of Franciacorta. The cellars of the area are located in aristocratic villas or in ancient palaces where they produce and preserve wines of excellent quality. You can enjoy them while enjoying a wonderful location.
A DAY BETWEEN HISTORY, ART AND TRADITION ON LAKE ISEO, ISEO AND MONTISOLA
What you will see: Iseo, a small and ancient town overlooking the lake. You will be captured by its alleys and hidden squares, its churches and medieval castle. Montisola is the highest lakeside island in Europe. You will be fascinated by Peschiera Maraglio, the ancient fishing village still immersed in the calm of other times of its magnificent surroundings. Montisola was the beautiful resort chosen by Christo to realize his great work of temporary art “The Floating Piers”, on which they walked about a million people in the Summer of 2016.
BRESCIA: THE MUSEUM OF SANTA GIULIA AND THE ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK – UNESCO SITES
The Santa Giulia Museum, located in the monastic complex founded by the last king of the Longobards in the eighth century. The complex was listed on the World Heritage List in June 2011 and is considered one of the most beautiful and interesting museums in Italy.
The archaeological park, with the most important remains of the Capitoline Temple, the Republican Shrine and the Theater, is considered to be the most important Roman archaeological site in Northern Italy.
