The Franciacorta area is world-famous for its fine wines and beautiful landscapes.
This is where the famous Franciacorta wine is made, using Chardonnay grapes with the “Franciacorta” method.
Franciacorta is also famous for its restaurants, where traditional Brescia cuisine can be enjoyed.


The entire old town centre is rich in historic buildings: the Duomo Vecchio, the Broletto, the Santa Giulia Museum, Pinacoteca, the city's Castle, the Piazza del Foro, once the Roman Forum, and Piazza Loggia with its Renaissance palace, not to mention Piazza Vittoria, one of the most important examples of Fascist era architecture.

Not far from Sisters House are:
Milano (50km), Bergamo (30km), Verona (50km), Mantova (60km)
Venezia (90km).


Brought to fame by Christo's installation in summer 2016, Lake Iseo is only a 10-minute drive from Sisters House.
It is a beautiful Alpine lake, offering boat trips to Montisola, Europe's largest lake island.

Also nearby is the lovely Riserva Naturale delle Torbiere, a beautiful peat-bog nature reserve with trails to be followed on foot or by bike..


Sisters House is only 30 minutes from the famous Lake Garda with its best-known tourist towns:
Sirmione, with its spa, Salò, Desenzano and Gardone Riviera, where visitors can view the home of Gabriele D’ Annunzio: the Vittoriale.

Lake Garda is also well known for its theme parks:
Gardaland, Movieland and Caneva World.
